| DIGIFLUX |
Digiflux specializes in website development and hosting. In this day and age it is essential for every company to have a website for either promotional reasons, business efficiency, or to offer better customer service. But whatever the reason may be we'll work with you every step of the way to establish an online presence that suits all your needs and requests. The goal is to make the process as effortless as possible by working on a straightforward one-to-one basis.
Background Information
Digiflux is owned and operated under the sole management of myself, Justin Barber. It all started at the beginning of my highschool years when I got my first computer with internet internet access. I've always had a curiosity for how things work, and with computer's complexity it became my new challenge. Site surfing quickly turned into the question of "how do they do this stuff" and my quest for knowledge began. Eventually, what started as a hobby turned into the start of my career.
I began researching the in's and out's of computers. I would read book after book and learn it all first hand from trial and error. It didn't come easy but I was on a mission. My strong willed nature combined with my creative touch was a perfect match for developing sites. I had a knack for computers and the internet. It started out slow with an amateur appeal as with anything new, but over the years my experience and persistence payed off into a professional skill.
I was never one for school, as most of you may be able to relate to, but my focus never left computers and web development. My junior year of High School I decided to join The Center for Technology Essex to put my studies to use in a field that I enjoyed. A year of Information Technology helped me learn how to build computers from scratch, troubleshoot errors, understand the brain of the computer and the way they function. With that knowledge I continued onto my senior year in the same Tech Center but entered the Computer Animation and Web Design program. Being self taught for a few years already I had an upper hand on website development. There I learned even more, and in addition learned how to animate for the web to create sites with a flashy look. I also ventured into 3D animation in the class and came out with some experience of that, but primarily strengthened the foundation of my self taught web knowledge. The combination of my own research with the two years of computer classes gave me the information and drive to start Digiflux.
My portfolio was created during the final semester of High School in the Computer Animation and Web Design class. I picked up a few odd jobs from the class with people who have become steady clients that I do work for to this day. Every day I learn something new and sharpen my skills - it's endless. Picking up new jobs and maintaining sites for previous clients. My goal is to one day transform this one man operation into a fully functional business. I'm spreading the word and getting the name out there, and hopefully in time I can get enough clientele to hire other qualified individuals with the same level of passion in their work as I have in mine. For now it's great working on a one-on-one basis and would be glad to work with you to jumpstart your business or create that website you've always dreamed of.
